If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.

My name is Jeannette R. Woods and I currently teach K-3 resource in an elementary school in Middle Tennessee.  I am pursuing a Specialist in Education Degree with a concentration in Administration and Supervision.  This blog is an assignment for one of my classes.  Stay tuned and enjoy my journey of learning this semester. I chose this title for my blog because in education we as educators do not always agree with the decisions made by the people 'up top'.  I myself am guilty of saying - "When is the last time they were in a classroom  and they are making the decisions."  In getting this degree I hope that it gives me another perspective as to why they made the decision.  Maybe, the decision of rain may affect 50 students but at the end 5,000 will benefit from the rainbow.
